How to extract pages from a PDF
- Choose a PDF, or drop it on the page. It opens in your browser.

- Press Download to get those pages as a new PDF. To delete pages instead, press Remove them and download the rest.
An example
The sample is a made-up 5-page lease packet. Type 1-2 and download, and you get a 2-page PDF with the summary and the terms, and without the signature page.
To split it into two files, download pages 1-2, then press Remove them and download the rest for pages 3-5.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. There's no sign-up, and no limit on pages.
Does my original file change?
No. Blackbar downloads a new file and leaves the one you opened as it was.
Can I still select and search the text?
Yes. The pages are copied as they are, so text you could select before is still text in the new file.
How do I split a PDF into two files?
Pick the first part's pages and download them. Then press Remove them and download the rest to get the second part.
My file won't open
It may be locked with a password. Unlock it first, then try again.
